A Simple, Transparent Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and phone number. If you connect Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We also collect information about gifts you add to your wishlist and purchases made through the app in order to provide this service.

Why we collect it

We use your information to run your account, send you a verification code when you sign up, process payments, and show your link or wishlist to people you share it with. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we never will.

Who can see your information

Your links or wishlist is visible to anyone you share the link with. Your phone number and email are never shown publicly. We share data with Stripe (payments) and Twilio (SMS verification) only as needed to provide the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days.

Mobile messaging privacy

G-VE uses your mobile number to provide text messages you explicitly request, including account verification and, if you separately opt in, recurring G-VE community alerts. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile information with service providers solely as necessary to deliver and operate our messaging services. You may receive up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us at reid@g-ve.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR.

Cookies

We use a session token stored in your browser to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Session data may be monitored to improve our product.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will let you know via email or an in-app notice.
